Call for Papers
20th Sederi International Conference,
University of Valencia
22-24 April 2009
The Organizing Committee of the 20th SEDERI International Conference and the
Spanish and Portuguese Association for English Renaissance Studies invite proposals
for contributions that critically explore questions related to the English Renaissance.
Perspectives from a variety of relevant disciplines/discourses, including reception
studies, literary studies, cultural studies, theatre studies, media studies, language and
linguistics are all welcome.
We are pleased to announce that the following plenary speakers have already
confirmed their attendance:
- Prof. Michael Dobson, Birkbeck College, University of London
- Prof. Tiffany Stern, University of Oxford
- Prof. Sonia Massai, King's College, University of London
- Prof. Santiago González-Fernández Corugedo, University of Oviedo
Scholars interested in submitting a proposal should send a 200 word abstract, suitable
for a 20-minute paper (followed by a 10-minute discussion)to:
